Q: How can I get to the Royal Palace Cruise?

A: It takes about 3h30 to drive from Hanoi city or Noi Bai airport to our marina, 1h30 from Haiphong airport. In order to get to the departure port, Royal Palace Cruise offers a shuttle bus service leaving from Hanoi every morning at 8h00. A private car with driver can be requested.


Q: What kind of food on boat in Halong Bay?

A: Most of the meals offered with seafood as Halong Bay specialty is seafood; there is lots of sea dishes combined with traditional Vietnamese food, I’m sure you will like the food on boat, if you are allergic with seafood, please inform your meal preference to our tour operator before your departure to Halong Bay.


Q: When is the best time to visit Halong Bay?

A: Halong bay has a humid tropical climate. There are however four seasons in the North. Winter lasts from December to March; temperatures can drop down to 12°C-17°C. Summer is from May until September, mostly sunny but rain showers are frequent as the humidity is higher. Spring and Autumn are nicely warm, October to early December being the best time to visit the area.

A: HaLong Bay is located 170 km away from Hanoi, this would take you about 3 – 3.5 hours on bus transfer to Halong city, bus trip normally leaves Hanoi by 8.00 am. We will be hitting the road for Halong Bay through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life.
